WareSpace Expands Across DFW to Help Small Businesses Scale

Maryland-based WareSpace said the expansion reflects strong demand from small businesses who need warehouse and industrial workspaces to operate and scale, something it says the North Texas market is "currently lacking."

WareSpace, a Columbia, Maryland-based provider of small warehouse space across the country, has expanded its North Richland Hills location, marking another milestone in the company’s fast-paced Texas growth.

The company has another North Texas location in Fort Worth, and yet another slated for construction soon in Addison.

“Texas is one of the most entrepreneurial regions in the country, and we’re building the infrastructure to match that energy,” CEO Levi Cohen said in a statement. “Our model gives small business owners room to grow without the red tape, long-term commitments, or surprise fees that come with traditional industrial leases.”

WareSpace said this expansion reflects the strong demand from small businesses who need warehouse and industrial workspaces to operate and scale, something it says the North Texas market is “currently lacking.”

The company said that North Richland Hills has become a hub for entrepreneurs looking for more than just storage—a city “where makers, movers, and local legends are growing their businesses with the infrastructure and support they need.”

WareSpace will host an open house from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 10 at the North Richland Hills location. 7601 Blvd. 26, to celebrate the new units and invite the community to explore everything that co-warehousing can offer growing businesses.

Part of broader Texas expansion

WareSpace said that North Richland Hills is just one piece of its broader Texas expansion strategy.

The company said it nearly doubled the size of its Houston footprint in late 2024, and reached full occupancy a few months later.

WareSpace acquired a new building in Addison last year, with construction set to begin soon. And the company said an expansion at its University South location in Fort Worth is on track to open in July.
The company said it’s “actively exploring new acquisitions” in all major Texas markets to meet the rising demand across the state.

“Marketing is easy when your product solves a real problem,” Chief Marketing Officer Eric Golman said in a statement. “Small business owners in Texas aren’t built to wait around for red tape or outdated leases. It’s just not in their DNA.”

Each WareSpace unit comes with 24/7 access, climate control, shared loading docks, WiFi, racking, and access to common areas like kitchens, lounges, and conference rooms, the company said.

WareSpace specializes in the development of co-warehousing and small-bay industrial spaces between 200 and 2,000 square feet.
